Research Institute

NARI’s MISSION is to perform applied research that solves significant problems, and in doing so create benefits to the University of Nebraska and our community.

NARI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliate of the University of Nebraska, under the University Technology Development Corporation (UTDC).

The NARI Team

We believe in what we do and we are passionate about it. Fueled by collaboration, healthy debate, a flexible schedule, and company provided caffeine; our eclectic team has the freedom to be themselves and they love what they do.

Our cyber, testbed, and software engineers possess industry and government recognized certifications (e.g. GICSP, CSSLP, and CISSP). NARI’s multi-disciplinary team employs engineering and cybersecurity best practices to tailor solutions for operational technology (OT) networks. Their expertise stems from over 30 years in the power and utilities markets, over a century in Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD), and over 110 years in software development. Our team truly understands the full spectrum of IT and OT cyber problems spanning the software, technology, risk-management, compliance, mission and business aspects of cybersecurity.
